House Hunting

I have learned a new lesson. When house hunting in Oklahoma never eat first. If you must eat, eat at least one hour before house hunting and ingest nothing heavy. I ate tacos......bad plan. Car sickness struck me after about 10 minutes of driving on an unpaved road and followed with me for the next couple of hours. I never knew that pavement (no matter the condition) is actually a blessing. Lessons abound!

Please pray that we find a domicile as our timeline is short and rather wonky. =) Also, I am missing my friends and am feeling rather lonely. =(

More news as I have it!

  1. Oh, my dear friend. Feeling lonely is a sad place to be. I'll be praying that the Lord sends you friends right away and that you find the perfect home quickly. PK is leaving tomorrow for three months. We have been here 9 months and PK was hoping to find a different job by now. Now he is going to stick this one out for another year and then transfer (same job, new location). Anyway, since we weren't planning on being here long I decided not to build any bridges. I don't have any friends here which I can handle when my husband is home, but the looming loneliness is hanging heavy. I will also be praying that your hubby loves his new job and you can put down some permanent roots!

  2. Poor Angie! Was it Taco Bell? I remember Taco Bell giving you an upset stomach when you are prego. I bet you are looking forward to your own cooking by now. Praying you find a wonderful home quickly! I wish I could stuff myself in an envelop and visit you to cheer you up.

  3. AW! Carsickness is the worst :(

Thinking about you guys and missing you - of course! I need to email you and dish you the dirt on wedding plans. Ellie tells me that you are asking her about it - you should come straight to the source ;)

  4. Angie,

I was thinking about you today. I was wondering who the lucky person is going to be who gets to be your friend first there. I miss you and the boys. Jacob and Gregory saw the pictures and starting saying how much they miss the boys. I guess I better start planning my trip for next year. Email me with a phone number when you have one and call me anytime day or night to talk.

    Love,

    Hattie
